A big-game scoping meeting will be held in Preston on Monday, March 4, to discuss Idaho Department of Fish and Game proposals for this fall’s hunting seasons for deer, elk, mountain lion, black bear, pronghorn and gray wolf.
The Preston meeting will be at the Larsen-Sant Library, 109 S. 100 E., and will start at 6:30 p.m.
Jennifer Jackson, of the IDFG, said big-game hunters can hear proposals for hunting seasons for these species at the meeting. They will also have an opportunity to ask questions and provide comments, she said.
