The Preston Indians finished the regular season on a high note for the district tournament with victories over Marsh Valley and Blackfoot.

They captured the number-four seed for the district tournament giving them the home-court advantage in their first game which was against Blackfoot on Tuesday (score will be posted on www.prestoncitizen.com).

A win sends them to Rigby on Thursday and a loss would give them a game on Saturday, but the opponent and location will not be determined until Thursday’s games are completed.

On Friday Preston celebrated senior night in style giving seniors Tate Johnson and Smellie and their families plenty to cheer about with a 54-51 victory over visiting Blackfoot.

Preston’s RJ Harris dribbles past Alonzo Ramos of Blackfoot on Friday. Preston won the game and played Blackfoot again on Tuesday in Preston in the first-round of the district tournament.
