There were 48 entries in The Citizen’s annual big game Bowl Picks contest this year. Of those, only 14 people predicted Baltimore would defeat San Francisco for the world title.
Hilary Heiniger of Preston was one of those 14 who picked Baltimore, by a score of 35-28. She was four points off of the total score of 34-31. Heiniger tied with Linda Bartholomew of Weston, who predicted a Baltimore win of 34-27. However, Heiniger was closer on the tiebreaker of how many yards Joe Flacco would throw for. He threw for 287 yards. Heiniger guessed 320 while Bartholomew said 110.
